ALMOLONGA HISTORY

This picturesque Quiche Mayan village is famous for its delicious fruits and vegetables, and for the excellent leather and textile work done by the local people.  

Almolonga has an old colonial church, which is worth a visit.  Also nearby are the El Rosario hot springs which have been made into a family attraction.
