Rabinal, a small village west of Salamà, can be reached by a dirt
road. It is known for its production of pre-Columbian type ceramics and
also for its delicious oranges.
Cahrup, an archeological site sitting on a hill just above Rabinal, was the
original Pokomchì capital.
