HIKING: You can
walk
from Quiriguá to Los Amates village, taking a short cut along the railway. It
is a very pleasant experience going through the banana plantations.
BIRD WATCHING: You will enjoy
the variety of birds around the area; you will see toucan, hawks, parrots, and
many other species.
THE
RUINS OF QUIRIGUÁ:: Open daily from 7am to 5pm. There is a small fee
during the day and overnight
parking is free.
