NEBAJ
Nebaj is the largest of the villages of the
Ixil Traingle, which
also includes Chajul and San Juan Cotzal. The road
leading to Nebaj is one of the most beautiful drives in Guatemala and offers
spectacular views of the valley below.
The village itself is pretty, with its whitewashed walls and streets made of
stones, and it has a better variety of hotels and restaurants than the smaller
villages. Nebaj is well-known for its distinctive dress and colorful
weavings.
