CRUZ LA LAGUNA
Perched on a steep hillside,
this village is known for its tranquility and has the only diving school on
the lake. La Iguana Perdida,is a Hotel and diving
center of Panajachel.
How
to get here: The boat departs from Panajachel at the end of the Calle
Santander, on the beach, just ask, everybody knows how to get there. This town recently has become popular
and is only a 20 min. ride. Fare is about $1.50, and remember that locals pay
less.

La Iguana Perdida is inexpensive and beautiful. The hotel
is run by a couple - a man from
Greenland and his wife, who is British. Meals are served in a family style.
