HOW TO GET
HERE: The
best way to get to Peten is by flying. The following
airlines offer flights from
Guatemala City Aeroquetzal, Aerovias de Guatemala, and Tikal
Jets. There are also buses than run from Guatemala City, but it is
at least a 12 hour ride and is not recommended. However, there is a first class
bus, Linea Dorada, that makes the ride more pleasant.

AIRLINES: The best way to
get here is by flying. The airlines leave Guatemala City airport around 7am daily,
and return around 6pm; it is an hour flight. Here are some of the airlines that
