AND SEAFOOD
As you can tell, Livingston is a place
where you can get lots of seafood. You will have access to lots
of fish and the famous Tapado plate which is stew made out of fish.
Regular food is more expensive than the rest of the country since
everything has to be brought from Puerto Barrios. All restaurants are
located on or near Main Street.
RIGOLETO PIZZERIA (Budget), near
the dock. In addition to Italian food, they also serve some Chinese
dishes. Dante's (Middle) serves excellent
pasta;
recommended.
Restaurants (Budget): El
Malecón, good food. The Happy Fish and Mc
Tropic are also good. Affrican Place is another
good place. They all are located near Main Street. El Tiburón and
Restaurant Raymundo on Main Street serve regional plates at local
prices.
Restaurants (Middle): The
Restaurant at Hotel Tucán Dugú is excellent and the most expensive
in town. La Casa Rosada also serves excellent
