For white-water rafting in Guatemala, Rìo Cahabòn is the place to go.  It consists of about 30 miles of river and offers many Class II and III rapids, as well as a few Class IV.  

Starting in Lanquìn, the trip down the river usually takes about four days.  Two companies that offer all-inclusive trips are: Maya Expeditions and Ecotoursim & Adventure Specialists (ecoadventure@mail2.guate.net), both of which are in Guatemala City.
