HOTELS: From $15 to $30 double room

Guatemala is one of the least expensive destinations in Central America. The Hotels in Chichicastenango are usually full on market days, which are Thursdays and Sundays. We recommend that you make your reservations in advance or arrive early. Hotels are colorful, and they make you feel the colonial ambiance of the 14 Century blended with the Indian culture.  They are usually decorated with Mayan pottery, primitive art and exotic plants.
