The best beaches are in Chulamar
about 3.5 miles from San Jose. They are more private and less crowded. We recommend
using caution, since
the ocean here is not too friendly and can easily drown you.
WHAT TO DO: SAILFISHING. Guatemala's Pacific Coast is
Literally Sailfish Heaven. Just 20 minutes from Puerto San Jose there is a
wonderful lodge that offers the sailfishing sport, the
