Las Lisas is one of the best beaches of Guatemala but it is rather
undeveloped. You won't find many of the services you find in Antigua or any
other part of the country.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE:
Not available, the closest place is Chiquimulilla 10 miles from here - about 1/2
hour by the time you cross the canal. For non-emergencies, a local
doctor recommended by the hotel, travel agency, or friendly resident is your best
bet. But for serious problems, Guatemala City has much to offer in the way
of medical services. Many are English-speaking
and/or American-trained doctors.
