EASTER CELEBRATION: Holy Week is the biggest celebration in this town and in the entire country. DON'T MISS IT. The celebration starts on Palm Sunday at 3pm, with the procession from La Merced. Rug construction in Holy week in AntiguaThere are activities and processions every day of the week leading up to Easter. The local people make beautiful rugs from colored sawdust the night before Good Friday. The Good Friday procession starts at 8 am from La Merced.
