MEDICAL ASSISTANCE:
. For non-emergencies, going to a local doctor recommended by the hotel,

recommend Dr. Sergio Castaņeda at 6 Ave Norte #42 in front of la Merced church
or Dr. Joel Alvarado on 4 Street next to la Posada San Angelina. But
for serious problems, Guatemala City has much to offer in the way of medical
services. Many are English-speaking and/or American-trained doctors. See
recommended list.
DENTIST: Jorge de la
Cruz 3a. Ave Norte #11. Julio Paredes, 4a. Calle Oriente # 9, both
